Woah

So, I suck. I've been trying to knit lots lately, but when I have school work out the wazoo it's hard. And I feel really guilty, but I do it anyways. Who needs sleep anyways? Really, it's over rated. So because I hardly sleep, I finished my boyfriend, Joe, a pair of socks. That he loves, his whole family loves, and I love. They look really good and it was a new pattern that I changed to be more friendly. Really, who likes a wedge toe anyways? Anyways, that's pretty much all my knitting adventure for the past little bit. Next week I get some surgery, which means lots of knitting time!

So, I haven't posted all summer. Blogger fail. That's pretty much because I've been knitting and working too much. I actually finished a couple pairs of socks!! Sadly, I can't keep myself from buying wool. I spend too much money.

Anyways, now that school starts tomorrow I"ll have more of a schedule and actually be able to update this thing more.

Sorry it's been so long.....

Well I'm back. I was on a holiday for a week. I brought my knitting with me and was actually able to get some done. Except now I'm very bored with the two socks I have on the go. And I'm itching to start something new again. But there's a voice in the back of my head telling me to just finish one of the socks to complete the pair. I just can't. I've tried. I always need to be able to switch to problem, 'cuz the minute I get bored with a pattern, things start to go south. So I decided to come here to distract me for a bit to avoid having three separate projects on the needles.

This is a serious problem.

I have a small problem....

I have a problem. I love knitting socks, but I hate knitting two. I have two and a half half pairs of socks. All different wool, all different patterns. And I have more wool for 5 more full pairs.....but something tells me I should actually finish a pair first. (Let the record show, I have finished a pair of socks, but they weren't for me, so I had a bit more motivation.) So to try overcome the little issue of mine, I won't let myself start a new pair of socks until ALL of them have a mate.

Let's see how this goes.

Ok, with exams just around the corner and a boyfriend that needs my attention before he leaves, chances are, no knitting will get any of my attention. Although I am still waiting for that wool order, even if I just have a sit and drool over it for a while.

I need a fix....

Ok, so I'm down at McMaster University for Green Mining workshop. And I didn't bring my knitting. I need to knit. My hands are going nuts with nothing to go (well there's homework, but that's not nearly as interesting as knitting). That'll be the most exciting part of going home, all my half finished projects. If all goes well, there will be a nice wool order waiting on my bed for me to break into:)

I think I have a problem.....

This is getting a little outta hand. I just spent $2000 on a nice new laptop. Do you think that that would keep me amused? Nope. I needed to go buy more wool. I had enough sock wool to keep me going for a LONG time. But no, I was in line at Michaels, praying to every god I could think of that my card would work. And it did. So now I have more sock wool taking up space. Wool that probably won't be touched for months.

I sure hope Tbaytel doesn't want me to pay my bill anytime soon.

No excuses now.....

Yay! I bought myself a macbook pro, but that means I really have no good excuse why no pictures are up on here, or on ravely, seeing as how I have a built in camera.

This is not quite like me.....

Ok, this is something I never thought I'd do. I've always hated blogs. Really, what's so exciting in my life that everyone has to know about it? Yet here I am, blogging about my fairly secretive hobby, knitting. If you were to meet me, you probably wouldn't peg me down as a knitter. But if I'm not working or doing homework, chances are you can find me swearing at a pair of socks or making yet ANOTHER attempt at a lace scarf.
I'll do my best to update to update this as much as possible, but no promises. It's hard being a diva.
